Our agency found out that Airbnb was putting out an RFP for a new global agency. Scott, one of the founders and the agencies president, came up to us and asked to craft a "funny" message he could send over LinkedIn. We knew we could do better. What we came up with was so big, we all thought we’d have to find new jobs when we were done.

The idea was simple: we'll create a "studio bedroom" inside our office that someone (me) would live in for 24 hours. And we’d broadcast the entire thing online.

This stunt was bigger than anything our agency had ever attempted. While I helped with everything from concept to execution (finding guests, figuring out the schedule, etc.), it took every single person in the agency to make it happen: the media department pulled together local DJ's, accounts worked to get different clients showcased, even our CEO pulled some connections. The video above will do a better job explaining the activation in more detail, so check it out!

And then... we made it onto AdWeek...

It was truly a dream come true. Never in a million years did we think our small-but-growing agency in Phoenix would be on the front page of Adweek. I'll never forget talking to the reporter just an hour after the stream was complete—I could barely stand up let alone string along some sound-bite worthy sentences.

Did the stunt give OH Partners a shot in the Airbnb review? No. But it was pretty fucking cool.
