Sometimes, the bodies we are born with aren’t enough. Sometimes, we want more than what we’re given. For most women, getting plastic surgery isn’t rooted in having a busty chest or a flatter stomach—it’s about having the confidence and comfortability to love the skin you’re in.

Fun story about this project: we had a script, a cast, a crew, and were ready to drive out to LA for the weekend shoot. Out of nowhere, Dr. Dev Wali got cold feet and decided it was best to give it some time and work on a different script. After talking to friends and family, he wasn’t sure that our original route (which involved a lot of black and white, moody type shots) was the best direction. I was able to convince Dr. Dev to give me one more shot.

I wrote a script that night, sent it out and got it approved the next day. We were able to keep talent and the crew and only had to switch locations. It was the most intense Hail Mary situations of my career and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!
